About Math Multiplication Car Race Game

Math Multiplication Car Race is a pseudo-3D car racing game on KidWorld that turns times-table practice into a race. As your car speeds down a curving, hilly road, a sign bridge crosses the track every few seconds with four lanes, each showing a different number — and only one of them is the correct answer to the multiplication sum shown at the top of the screen. Steering into that lane is your answer, so racing forward and solving multiplication sums happen at the same time. Four age levels (Toddlers, Preschool, Elementary, Tweens) tune how far up the times tables you go, and every gate is generated fresh, so no two races are ever the same.

A Focused Spin-Off of Math Car Race

Math Multiplication Car Race is a fork of Math Car Race, KidWorld's original driving maths game, which starts with addition for the youngest racers and mixes in subtraction, multiplication and division as the age level rises. This version reuses the exact same pseudo-3D racing engine, rival cars, boost/brake controls and scoring — the only difference is that every single gate, at every age level, is a multiplication sum. That makes it a better fit for a racer who wants to build pure times-table fluency first, without addition, subtraction or division mixed into the same run.

More Operation-Specific Car Races

Want to practice a different operation the same way? KidWorld has three more car races, each focused on just one:

He liked that correct answers made the car go faster. Simple mechanic, held his attention for several rounds.

She usually avoids drills but asked to play this twice; the speed boost for correct gates was a hit.

One of my students said the lanes look clear and it's easy to tell which gate to pick. Good for independent work.
